I have been drawing from an early age and stopped doing art at the end of junior school when I won a national competition in Zimbabwe at the age of 12. I resumed my interest in art a few years ago when I heard an advertisement for drawing classes at the Art Gallery of Windsor on the radio. Apart from a few classes, I am mostly self taught and work in various drawing media, pastels, and water color and I also enjoy sculpture in clay. I hope to be more productive now that I have retired and have more time for art. My preferred subjects are African wildlife and landscapes but there is so much I would like to paint I am not limiting myself to anything in particular.
