 Maria G. Amaya, “Lupita”, born in Mexico City is a Canadian Citizen, residing in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, since 1993.  She holds 2 degrees in Interior Design from both Mexico and Canada and is a well regarded Interior Designer.

Lupita has successfully combined her career and her artistic knowledge through the years, and had created beautiful art pieces, including illustrations and commercial art. 

In her 20+ years working as an artist, she has been recognized for her creative talent; expressing her own ideas in a variety of mediums including, acrylics, watercolors, pencil, as well as creating Digital Photography.  Lupita’s work is classified as Traditional or Contemporary.  Her main subjects include landscapes, portraits, figures, abstracts, as well as flowers and still life.   Her originality and use of bright and vibrant colors draw attention.  Her award winning rendering for the renovation of the Windsor Capitol Theatre, had over a year of exposure in the local T.V. channel of Windsor, promoting their Renovation Fundraiser. Subsequently, she created another artistic rendering for the Chatham Capitol Theatre that was also used as a model for its Fundraiser renovation.
