Without a doubt, I'm hooked and look forward to perfecting my skills and learning from all of the wonderful artists in the ARA.
Art has been an important part of my life for as
long as I can remember. Until I retired a few years ago, I had little time
to devote to my art. I taught secondary school mathematics for thirty-one
years, raised two terrific children Jeffrey and Jeanette with my husband
Dale, and now I finally have the time to paint. My sister-in-law, Betty
got me started with watercolour whenshe convinced me to take a painting
class in North Bay one summer. The instructor, Arlie Hoffman has been a
wonderful source of encouragement and inspiration.
I have also taken classes from Julia Conlon, Constance Noyle, and Linda Kemp.As a beginner in the field of watercolour I am enjoying the wonderful unexpected results of using this media.
