 I was mesmerized by colour as a child, especially Disney storybooks and animated movies. For instance, in 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice', while Mickey was waving the sorcerer's wand to command the objects in his environment I was fascinated by how colours swirled and combined and harmonized to create a different kind of magic.

As a youth, I attended secondary school art classes which I enjoyed and excelled in. Other past and current interests include crafting, various college courses (just for fun) in business and computers, further art courses, psychology and music. I enjoyed membership in various service clubs and 25 years of volunteerism. Work history includes professional vocalist, pharmacy dispensary technician, inventory control clerk, front shop manager (drugstore), office supervisor.  

I attend workshops and take classes from local artists which help to ground me as I wade through a busy life of non artistic endeavours. Presently, I enjoy pen and ink and watercolour, pastels, and acrylics. Favourite subjects include landscapes, animals and people ~ reflecting soft intimate moments to dramatic and unusually observed scenery.
