Preedy Shirley
My name is Shirley Preedy and I paint in acrylics.  I started painting on odd things like cow skulls, saw blades, milk cans and pieces of wood until Bob Bishop suggested that I take a few lessons and get a little more serious about my painting. My favourite subjects are animals, especially horses.  I am working on improving my backgrounds.  I also like to use charcoal because of the dramatic effect of the black and white with portraits.  I enjoy watercolours and am just beginning to work in that medium.  I always sign my paintings with my maiden name, S.J. Jardine.
