Art has been a life-long passion for Jude—from decorating public school projects and painting a portrait of her 5-year-old brother when she was 12, to her present involvement with StreetsmARTS.

JUDE QUICK
She has painted everything from clothing to
murals, in acrylics and watercolours, and supported herself for several years
through her art. Jude has her own
company, Ubiars, is a member of the A.R.A. a docent at the AGE and has done
several two-woman shows with fellow artists.
Jude loves florals, landscapes—but especially portraits, and can be
found in her studio most days painting or cutting and pasting to make one-of-a
kind greeting cards. Her favourite quote
is from a CBC guest speaking about inspiration.
He said, “I don’t know where it comes from, but I know where it comes
to”. For Jude it comes to her studio as
often as possible. Besides being an
artist, Jude teaches English as a Second Language to newcomers to
