BIOGRAPHY
I have been
painting since February of 2006, and I have tried to learn the
necessary skills, as well as, enjoy all the attempts to execute them.
The one
thing I have learned is that you can only fail, if you do not try.
I have
taken lessons from both Harold Burton, and Julia Conlon, and, I give
them credit for their patience in teaching me, and the things I have accomplished
so far. I have limited showing, and I
have won at small country fairs, as well as placing first in the 2008
“Beginners Category”, of the “North Light Book” competition. I am so grateful for the confidence these
wins have given me.
I work
mostly in water colours, but I also work in acrylics, soft pastels, and “pen
and ink”. My subject matter has been dog
and horse portraits, but I am expanding to include landscapes, seascapes,
people, and still life.
