Cathy Bellis
Cathy's art story began when she was in the second grade. The Art Superintendent at that time was a nun who liked one of my paintings and selected it to be included in a student art show. That was a very exciting surprise.
After that, she often stared at any and every painting wherever possible. She enjoyed high school art courses and also signed up for a night school watercolour class in grade 12, to learn some of the basics. Since then Cathy has kept painting, although for many years, it was rare to find the time. Her intention is to keep going, as long as possible, painting from the inspiration everywhere I look. |
