Since the day she first touched an oil painting, she was drawn to the medium as a fly to a flame. Her memory of that touch stays with her to this day which creates the energy to create her kind of art.
She was educated at Michigan State University where she received a major in business and a minor in fine art. She has been painting for most of her life, but has developed her own style in the last 25 years. As of this writing, she has created over 550 pieces. Her art is carried at such galleries as “Art At the River” located in Ontario Canada and “Plumtree” located on the outskirts of Detroit Michigan. In addition to the galleries that have carried her paintings, she has received awards at Gold Rush Days and have shown her art at many Arizona art exhibitions. She is a juried member of the Wickenburg Art Club, and the Arizona Art Alliance. She spends her winters in Arizona and her summers in Ontario and never lack for subject matter to help her develop my continued interest as an artist. She is a colourist at heart and include portraits, still life and landscape in my inventory.
She hopes that some future artist will run their hands over one of her paintings and feel the excitement that so inspired her at a young age.
