LaSalle artist, Colleen Castonguay grew up in Windsor Ontario with a passion and love for art from early childhood. Colleen works in acrylic and oil but her true love is the delicate, spontaneous nature of watercolour.
She is a certified Bob Ross Instructor, a professional framer by trade and committed to teaching and encouraging students in weekly watercolour, drawing and mixed media classes." Advanced registration is required by cash or INTERAC E-transfer

The emphasis within my classes is learning to communicate with passion and clarity. Artists are encouraged to increase their creativity, recognize their uniqueness, and develop confidence to bring concept to full fruition. Only then are they able to produce original works of art that tell their narratives in their voice.
Smith, who was born in 1949 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, is known for his expressive brushstrokes and ability to find inspiration for paintings even in the humblest scenes. He works to capture the story within his subjects in the hope of evoking a conversation in which art has the power to awaken within us. It has been noted that his work generates simplicity and quietness that causes one to pause and connect. Smith believes that the success of a work of art is a result of how well the artist can transform an emotional response into its visual equivalent.
