The Association of Representational Artists was formed in 1978 by a group of Windsor and area artists with a desire to learn and work together in support of the art community.  Its goal is to maintain specific high standards for the display and sale of the artists’ works.
 
Benefits of membership include attending workshops under the direction of professional guest artists.  As well there is opportunity for display and sale of their works and to interact with potential buyers.  Some of our members look forward to the warmer months and fair weather where they will meet in small groups at prearranged destinations to paint “en plein air”.
 
The A.R.A. meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month (except July and August).  A standard format is maintained to discuss past and proposed business objectives, followed by a less formal social hour in which members have an opportunity to network.

The third Saturday of each month between the hours of 1:00p.m. and 4:00p.m., members are encouraged to join others for an afternoon of painting and socializing.  Art Galia in Tecumseh welcomes us for a small fee of $10.00 each, for the afternoon.
Members, who have attended, enjoyed this atmosphere of good company and relaxing environment.
