Guy Olivier
I was born in Montreal and grew up in New England. My working years were as a Mechanical Designer/Technical Illustrator, but my heart was always in art. Though the years I took night classes when I could, including at the Framingham (Massachusetts) Art Museum where I learned the still life techniques of the Flemish painters and The Art Institute of Boston where I studied graphic arts. I was a member of the Nashua (New Hampshire) Artists' Association for years and the vice-president of the group in 1986.
Now that I'm retired I plan on painting as much as possible. I paint exclusively in oils. |
